The goal of this website is to help connect students to information about Earth Science.  Specifically, information that will teach students about careers in our community that deal with science and technology concerning Earth Science.  We live in San Juan County, a very rural community.  This remote corner of Utah is rich in energy and mineral resources.  In addition, our location on the Colorado plateau is very unique and contains vast amount of geological history for students to learn.  The purpose of this project is to bring students closer to this land and inspire them into professions that will keep our communities healthy and productive for years to come.  I want to teach science in a way that leaves a mark and has an impact on students lives.
